1. Who are we?

Guldtid AB offers companionship services for everyone who wants more presence, security, and social interaction. We process personal data with respect and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What information do we collect?

Customers:

  • Name, personal identity number, and contact information
  • Contact persons or relatives (name, relationship, contact information)
  • Needs and wishes for matching
  • Information from introduction forms
  • Upcoming bookings, booking history, and visit times
  • Any photos in connection with visits with special consent to document visits for the purpose of creating joy, security, or memory support for the customer and/or relatives
  • Other information shared voluntarily when contacting Guldtid

For relatives of clients (in the role of contact person):

  • Name, relationship to the client
  • Contact information (phone, email)
  • Other information shared voluntarily when contacting Guldtid

For Golden Friends (companionship persons):

  • Name, personal identity number, and contact information
  • Experience and background
  • Information from application forms and interviews
  • Information about work (e.g., hours worked and schedule)
  • Other information shared voluntarily when contacting Guldtid

For both (as needed and depending on contact):

  • Other information you choose to share with us, e.g., in emails, phone calls, survey responses, or follow-ups

3. How do we use the information?

We process information for the purpose of:

  • Matching clients and Golden Friends
  • Planning and conducting visits
  • Managing billing and administration
  • Contacting relatives or acting in emergency situations
  • Following up on quality, security, and experience
  • Fulfilling legal requirements (e.g., bookkeeping obligations)
  • Providing and improving our services within the scope of our business
  • With special consent: documenting visits with photos for the purpose of creating joy, security, or memory support for the customer and/or relatives

We never process more information than necessary.

4. Legal basis for processing

We base our processing of personal data on:

  • Consent, e.g., during application or onboarding
  • Agreement, to be able to deliver the services you have booked
  • Legal obligation, e.g., according to the Bookkeeping Act
  • Legitimate interest, e.g., to be able to contact relatives in an emergency situation

5. How long we store your information

  • Client information: maximum 2 years after cooperation ends
  • Golden Friend information: maximum 2 years after last assignment
  • Financial information (e.g., invoices): 7 years according to the Bookkeeping Act

6. Who has access to the information

Only employees at Guldtid AB with relevant work tasks have access to personal data. We do not disclose information to third parties, except when required by law (e.g., Swedish Tax Agency) or in emergency situations.

7. Your rights

According to GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct incorrect or incomplete information
  • Be deleted ("the right to be forgotten")
  • Request restriction of processing
  • Get your information in a digital format (data portability)
  • Submit complaints to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY)
